Trip Introduction

Tsum valley is the secret Tibetan Buddhist land that stands at the edge of one of the most secluded Himalayan valleys. Tsum comes from the Tibetan word ‘Tsombo’, which means vivid. The Tsum Valley is a sacred Hindu pilgrimage located at the northern part of Gorkha, a beautiful district of Nepal. The Tsum Valley Trek is a new trekking trail of the Manaslu region, nurtured by the overwhelming view of  Mt. Manaslu, Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurna and number of other mountain peaks above 8000 metres.

The people of Tsum Valley or the Tsumbas belong to the Tibetan origin and possess their own ancient form of dialect, art and religion. Thus, the Tibetan Buddhist culture is still very prevalent in the beautiful natural garden of the Tsum Valley. The high, mysterious valley was considered to be an important trade link with Tibet some years back and is now regarded as one of the prepossessing modern day village. The Tsum Valley is still one of the undiscovered places of Nepal and is gathering its popularity these days.

Very few adventurous travelers have made it to the Tsum valley through every ups and downs, deep pine and rhododendron forest, enchanting monasteries and scenery, small tibetan villages and among hospitable people. The initial route from the kathmandu valley to Jagat is same as the root of Manaslu circuit Trek.  Ganesh Himal, just above the Tsum Valley beholds the royal beauty of Nepal in the yet to be explored trekking destination and is wholeheartedly set to give the travelers a wonderful and memorable travelling experience.
