The trek to Helambu begins from the beautiful Chisapani, and takes you through the roads of Kutumsang, Tharepati, Sermathang and finally to the Melamchi Pul Bazaar. To add more value to the place, there are also numerous prayer flags, temples, shrines, rivers and landscapes that reflect the overall beauty of Nepal within one place.
Helambu, well- known for its sweet apples, also offers a great taste of tea and lunch for the ones who feel a need to rest a while and feed their hungry tummy. The residents on this trail are Tamang, Sherpa, Brahman and Chhetri, with a happy life from mostly agriculture. The best part of this trip is to pass through the brightly painted walls and the statues of Guru Rimpoche who is believed to have meditated in a cave nearby and wore the robes made by female angels.
