Lower Dolpo consists of rare and useful medicinal herbs which have huge significance in human life. Yarsagumba, also known as Cordyceps, a parasitic organism, well- known for its benefits in clinical and household remedy is the specialty of the Dolpo region. Most people spend their summer in the hunt for Yarsagumba which yields a handsome amount of money for their livelihood. Its essence is immense to strengthen immune system, control any kind of weaknesses and protect human body from abnormalities.
