Feasibility for Gosainkunda Lake Trek

Best Seasons: Fall, Spring (September, October, November, March, April, May)

Fitness: Fair level of physical fitness, accompanied by some exercises couple of months prior the trip.

Difficulties? : Proper rest and medication is required to avoid the mild risk of altitude sickness.

Day 2:Kathmandu Sightseeing and Trek Preparation

Day 3:Drive Kathmandu to Dhunche (1800m), 6-7 hours ride

Day 4:Trek Dhunche to Chandanbari (3200m), 4-5 hours walk

Day 5:Trek Chandanbari to Gosaikunda Lake (4460m) via Lauribinayak (3700m), 5-6 hrs walk

Day 6:Trek Gosaikunda to Sing Gompa (3330m), 4-5 hrs walk

Day 7:Trek Sing Gompa to Dhunche (1950m), 6-7 hours walk

Day 8:Drive back from Dhunche to Kathmandu, 7-8 hours ride
